Short explanation of the story and how it developed: Wayne Curtis tale of a resourceful women was based on a true story of his own Grandmother, Barbara. His wonderful story telling shed light on the in the yesteryears, in the Miramichi valley but are also a reflection of how hardship and happiness go hand in hand in many rural communities across this land. |
