Atlantic Journalism Awards - Technical Guidelines

For uploading and playing back audio/video files, please ensure you are using the latest version of your web browser (Chrome, Safari 6+, Firefox, or Internet Explorer 11+ OR Microsoft Edge). Older browsers are not capable of uploading large files to our servers.

1. All media file uploads must be no greater than 4GB in size.
2. Video uploads are accepted in the following formats: .avi, .flv,.m4v, .mov, .mp4, .mpeg, .mpg.
3. Audio uploads are accepted in MP3 format only.
4. Publication/Print uploads are accepted in PDF format only. Please submit as a SINGLE PDF when there are multiple pages/segments. Judges prefer 1 PDF for the entry.
5. Photographs or Editorial Cartoons uploaded in jpg or PDF only.
6. Should you encounter any issues uploading, please use the Help button at the top right of the award details page.
