Short explanation of the story and how it developed:

Judges, Wabush, Labrador is a small town that does not often register on the radars of most people in New Brunswick. But that is quickly changing in regions where jobs are growing scarce and the population is dwindling. Paul Gessell travelled to Wabush where he spent several days gathering stories and discovering the link that is forming between the northern town and rural New Brunswick. The series of stories gave personal accounts of life travelling back and forth between the two regions, while looking at the issues behind why and how this phenomenon is growing. Gessell made contact with locals and connected their stories to the economic and demographic realities of what was happening in New Brunswick.
