Short explanation of the story and how it developed: Dream Doctors: A group of clowns from the Israeli foundation "Dream Doctor" came to Halifax to share practices on clowning therapy with employees of Halifax's IWK children hospital. The clowns and local staff met with 5 years old Stacey Doucet, who has an unknown disease. Doctors say she doesn’t have much time left. Yvon Leblanc: This is a man who uses to run marathons, paint art and build houses. One day a stroke hit him, which paralyzed him on the right side. Yet, nothing stops this dreamer. Atelier de conte: A successful expatriated author, Georgette Leblanc, comes back to her Acadian hometown in Baie St-Marie to encourage seniors to write their memories through the art of storytelling. This way their stories will not be forgotten. This workshop took place on the first day of " le festival de la parole", a storytelling festival. |
