Short explanation of the story and how it developed: "On the Go" is a 2 hr. current affairs show which broadcasts across NL. We want people to think of the show as a smart, quick-witted friend who's plugged in to what's on the go, and who wants listeners to take part in the conversation. The Port Authority's plan to permanently fence off much of St. John's iconic harbour generated dozens of emails and talkbacks after hearing interviews with councilors, the mayors of St. John's and Owen Sound, security expert Gwyne Dyer, the Port Authority and emails from Transport Canada. |
