Joan Jessome, president of the Nova Scotia Government & General Employees Union felt betrayed by her normally pro-union NDP premier. Dexter and Jessome most times were on the same side of issues. Personally Jessome took great issue with this depction calling it “humiliating, sexist and offensive.” The cartoon became a big media story in the world of NS politics. Jessome said the artist would never do this to a man leading to the artist drawing the exact same cartoon the following week with a male sex partner. This time NS Power’s CEO Rob Bennett. Publication: Chronicle Herald Details: Adam Lanza ftally shot 20 school children and four adults at Sandy Hook Elementary leading to calls once again, for stronger gun control laws. The NRA were silent up until Monday leading one NRA leader to say”"I think it [the response] is going to come hard, I think it is going to come fast, and I think it is going to come soon."
