Short explanation of the story and how it developed: I became aware of Kyle McNeil trying to make it in pro boxing while attending university after seeing him in his pro debut. I'm not aware of another college student/pro fighter. I waited for him to get a fight or two in the bank to determine he was serious about it. Incorporating trainer Bob Tapper and his north Dartmouth gym provided a way to illustrate how rare it is that hopeful stories come out of this neighborhood. |
