Short explanation of the story and how it developed: I had heard about this game since I was a young boy. How the local boys played against and nearly beat the mighty Cuban baseball team. However, no one ever spoke about who the Cuban players. They were footnotes in a game they won. The purpose of this article was to figure out who they were and to complete a story from my childhood. |
