Short explanation of the story and how it developed: One of the most common need s these days for photographs is for use on our website to have a fresh photo to start the day. I normally start early in the morning and tend to go for walks in our downtown area looking for feature photos which can serve to show the readers what they might be missing . As I walked along the riverfront one morning I was captivated by the mists rolling along the river and how intense the sunrise was . Sunrises are not much use without some human counterpoints and as I rounded a bend near our skate park two skateboarders who as it turned out had been up all night were still perfecting their skills giving me not only a web shot but a front page shot for the paper next day. |
