Short explanation of the story and how it developed: During the spring and fall of 2023, I’d been following reports on the CBC about what seemed like an odd local dispute over boundaries and property designations in Peggys Cove. But, this being iconic Peggys Cove, it was more than just a local concern, of course. So I began attending community meetings to better understand what was going on. Then I began to follow up by trying to talk to all the players and research the documents and the law behind what was happening. The more I dug, the more fascinating it became. -Stephen Kimber |
