Short explanation of the story and how it developed:

The close-up expression of Rob Dekany - “New Brunswick’s worm guy” - is second only to the slimy invertebrates wriggling throughout his fingers. This photo came to life as part of a profile of Dekany, who weeks prior to it being taken, made headlines across Atlantic Canada and beyond for his role as 'Uber Rob' during the devastating spring flooding. Dekany had become the symbol of a modern day Good Samaritan of using his boat to ferry citizens of Darlings Island to safety after rising floodwaters overwhelmed their residences. Following that, Robinson sought to tell the story of who this hero was in his everyday life. And it just so happened that Dekany made his living as one of the Maritimes' largest worm fishing suppliers. Caption: Quispamsis, N.B.-native Rob Dekany, made famous due to his recent efforts transporting Darlings Island residents during the flood, is also known for his business Maritime Worm, the company responsible for stocking bait shops and big box stores across Atlantic Canada, with fishing worms.
